A few photos of multiple superconducting ring ratchet for ultrasensitive detection of nonequilibrium noise is published
February 05, 2016
A few photos of a device for ultrasensitive detection of nonequilibrium noise (noise detector) published in our Image Gallery. The images show fragments of structure with multiple superconducting ring ratchet consisting of 667 asymmetric aluminum rings of 1 ΅m in diameter connected in a continuous chain.
The device is fabricated on a Si wafer using e-beam lithography and lift-off technologies.
The photos courteously supplied by our users from
Physics Department of Royal Holloway University of London, UK
and IMT RAS, Chernogolovka, Russia.
